The education provided allows the architect taught in our School to become a professional qualified to develop his/her activity both in Spain and in an international context.
The objectives of the degree are basically to turn the future Architect into the key element of the building process, providing him/her with the necessary tools to plan, design, calculate, manage and direct the different phases that allow a conceived idea to become a project and become a built reality.
At Nebrija University, this can be significantly enhanced by combining it with other qualifications:

Nebrija University, which is strongly committed to languages and quality, provides the student with an academic certification in English, a suitable complement to obtain the B2 and C1 levels.
Promotion of competencies oriented to employability, management skills, coaching, personal branding and any other topic related to professional and social development, which may be chosen by the student to enrich their personal and professional training.
The University puts within the students' reach a total of three subjects to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become a competent professional within the demands of the current labor market.
The student must complete 300 credits
They are Communication and Emotional Intelligence, Teamwork, Project Management, Leadership and Negotiation, Skills Development Seminar (includes English level assessment).
The recognition of 6 credits will be assessed depending on the different activities that the student performs throughout his/her degree. They will be awarded for university cultural activities, sports, student representation, solidarity and cooperation, or for taking one of the following subjects: Ethics of volunteering or Human Rights.
Program which aims to promote the practical training of students, under the continuous supervision of the Department of Professional Careers of the University, the academic department corresponding to the degree and the company or collaborating institution where the practices are carried out. The End of Degree Project is an academic report that delves into a subject of the curriculum and allows the evaluation of the skills acquired in the Degree. It can be linked to the professional internship or it can also be part of a research project.

The Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture – Blended modality - is directed, fundamentally, at people who have always wanted to study the architect's degree but who for various reasons have not been able to fulfill their dream.
This Degree allows access to the Master's Degree in Architecture, also taught by our university in Blended modality, 60 ECTS credits in duration, which is the one that grants the professional attributions of the profession of Architect and allows the association and signing of projects.
The Blended modality allows a high flexibility in the time management of active professionals. For that reason, Nebrija University will arrange the attendance of the subjects that require it on Fridays and Saturdays, distributed in six weekends every quarter on the Dehesa de la Villa campus, in the center of Madrid.
The program integrates classroom attendance subjects (102 ECTS credits) and others that are taught purely at a distance (198 ECTS credits).
All the methodology is designed to guarantee that the students receive the same quality of education that the students who attend it in classroom attendance modality.
The course starts in September and finishes in July, and has a duration of 300 ECTS credits, which includes an End of Degree Project of 18 ECTS credits.
Those students with previous university education and/or professional experience can request a study of recognition of subjects without cost or commitment. In accordance with Royal Decree 861/2010, the following credits will be recognized:

Architecture is a regulated profession, with legal capacity to sign off on a project, and with professional colleges that support the development of the professional practice of an Architect. He/she can work independently, forming groups of architects in professional studies, or can develop his/her work in a multidisciplinary way in a company. Companies that hire architects are usually developing companies, construction companies, engineering companies, those dedicated to interior design, etc.
The architecture professional in Spain has a high qualification that propitiates his/her high recognition inside and outside our borders. The mastery of both the technological and humanistic aspects reached by the architects trained in our country places them at the forefront of the creation and application of their scientific knowledge.
Upon finishing the Degree in Architecture, students can carry out their professional work as a designer, consultant on structures, installations and projects, construction manager, expert, urbanist, examiner and appraiser, teacher and researcher, designer, real estate developer, restoration and rehabilitation of buildings of historical heritage, graphic and furniture designer, graphics programmer, municipal architect, estate, health and safety architects, technician of offices of technical consultancies and laboratories.

Within what will be their work performance, other aspects such as teamwork, conflict resolution and project management ability will be worked on.
In the third block, skills worked on are those aimed at increasing the student's employability. They will work with tools and techniques for job searching, and perform tasks that achieve in the student a greater use of their personal skills.
For all this we have currently active experts in selection of people, professionals dedicated to personal and professional training and professionals dedicated to the world of communication and the arts.
In this way, and in a complementary way to his/her specific training, we help the student create a differentiating pattern in the social and business environment in which he/she will be immersed when he/she finishes his/her studies.
