The University

Nebrija University, recognised by the Cortes Generales (General courts) by Ley 23/1995 on 17 July, with registered address at Campus Universitario de La Berzosa, 28240 Hoyo de Manzanares (Madrid), aims, among other things, to provide the public service of Higher Education by offering a wide variety of activities and programmes that are projected in the fields of education, both for research and study, through the various formulas provided by current and applicable law.

The Nebrija University Website aims to facilitate the general public’s understanding of the University and the activities and services it provides.


Nebrija University offers Internet users the Website (www.nebrija.es, www.nebrija.com) and the Website’s other associated pages.

The access to and/or use of the Nebrija University Website is entirely voluntary and attributes user status to whomever accesses it. By accessing, each user accepts, without reservation, the content of these “General Conditions” as well as, where applicable, the “Special Conditions” that may complement, replace or modify them in any way, in relation to the services and content of the Website. Consequently, the user must read the conditions in detail before accessing and using any of the Website’s services under the user’s own full responsibility.

Aim and Modification of conditions

Nebrija University offers users the possibility to access the content and services of the Website on condition that users do so in accordance with what is provided in these general conditions.

In any case, Nebrija University reserves the right to, at any time and without notice, modify or delete the content, structure, design, services and conditions or access and/or use of this site, whenever it deems appropriate.

Industrial property and Intellectual property

Any names, designs and/or logotypes displayed on this Website are duly registered trademarks of the University and it Subsidiaries. Any misuse of these by persons other than their rightful owner may be prosecuted in accordance with current law. The Website is property of Nebrija University.

The Intellectual Property rights of this Website, its pages, screens, the information they contain, their appearance and design, as well as the links that connect the Website to other Webpages are property of the University, unless otherwise specified. Consequently, the University has the exclusive rights of exploitation and reproduction of the Website. The user may download content, copy or print any page of this Website exclusively for personal use, on condition that the rights of the owner are respected. Under no circumstances may the user change, modify or delete this Website’s information, content or warnings. Nor may the user reproduce, transmit or modify the content of this Website, directly or indirectly, without Nebrija University’s prior written consent.

Commercial communications

When the user enter his/her data on any Website form, the user authorises and gives Nebrija University his/her permission, in the additional terms drawn up in each form, to offer its services through informative and promotional communications. In accordance with art. 21 of Ley 34/2002 on 11 July, the data owner expressly authorises the sending of marketing or promotional communications by any electronic means, without prejudice to the event that such consent to receive commercial or promotional communications may be revoked at any time in accordance with the law.

Nebrija University’s personal data protection

All personal data given upon request is necessary in order to provide the services offered and this may not take effect if the user doesn’t give his/her permission for his/her data to be included in the corresponding archives and to their ensuing computer processing.

This data will be included in automatised archives whose responsible is Nebrija University, whose other circumstances already act in this legal notice, and the data will be used for the purposes specifically mentioned in the data collection form, and they will be treated confidentially by the data controller.

In any case, the user is responsible for the veracity of the given data, and Nebrija University reserves the right to exclude any user who has provided false data from the services registered, without prejudice to other actions stipulated by law.

The user may exercise his/her rights of access, rectification, opposition and cancellation of supplied personal data through written communication addressed to the legal representative of the data controller.

User Responsibility

The user agrees to use the services and content provided by the Website in accordance with current law and the principles of good faith and generally accepted uses and not to contravene public order or current law through his/her use of the Website. Therefore, the following is prohibited: any use for illicit purposes or use that may in any way impair or impede, damage and/or overload the use and normal operation of the Website, or directly or indirectly threaten it or against any third party.

The Website user agrees to provide true and accurate information about him/herself in the forms included on the Website. Likewise, the University will try to update all content of the page and have it, with the exception of errors and omissions, respond to reality.

With regards to the previously detailed contents, any commercial advertising use different from the strictly allowed is prohibited, where appropriate, as well as the infringement, in general, of any rights arising thereof.

Therefore it is expressly stated that the existence of a hyperlink between a Webpage and the Nebrija University Website does not in any way imply the existence of a relationship between the Nebrija University and the owner or holder of that page, nor does it imply the acceptance and approval of the content or services that it may offer.

No false, incorrect or inaccurate references or statements to the pages and services of this Website or to any of the aspects related to the activity of Nebrija University may be made.

Unless expressly authorised in writing from the University, the page where the hyperlink is given may not have any distinctive feature (brand name, name, logotype) which refers to Nebrija University except the signs integrated in the hyperlink itself.

The creation or execution of any alteration or modification on the Nebrija University Webpages, and especially those which may lead users to error or confusion, is explicitly prohibited.

The user is solely responsible for the use of this site and for the compliance with these terms in full. Consequently, the user agrees to keep confidential and proprietary information secret, as well as access codes, passwords or similar data assigned to access any service.

Nebrija University does not guarantee or take responsibility for, in any case or circumstance, any damages that could, where appropriate, be derived from the situations that are hereby included, but not limited to:

Lack of availability, continuity, access, maintenance and effective operation of the Website or/and its services and updates, accuracy, completeness, relevance, currency and reliability of its content, whatever the cause, and difficulties or problems, of technical or other nature, that cause these events.
  2. Transmission and/or existence of viruses, other elements or programmes that may be harmful for users’ computers or that might affect them or produce alterations in their electronic documents or files, as a result of access, use or exploration of the Webpage.
