Ignacio Cristóbal Urbicain

Senior HR Executive with extensive experience in People Management within multinational industrial environments and knowledge-based organizations (engineering, healthcare, research, and higher education).
Over the course of twenty-five years as an HR Director, he has worked across all areas of the HR function—from legal, economic, and labor relations to matters related to institutional strategy, governance, professional development, and leadership. His work stands out particularly in projects focused on professionalization, legal compliance, and competency development within people management. He currently serves as Partner and Head of the HR Consulting Division at Grupo LEXA.
He has been an adjunct professor at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues and the University of Navarra, teaching in various professional master’s programs (Law, Communication, Fashion, and Economics) in human resources subjects. He has also co-directed several leadership and decision-making seminars with university students and members of the Spanish Armed Forces. Additionally, he has been a guest lecturer at CESEDEN (Centro Superior de Estudios de la Defensa Nacional) in seminars on talent management.
