D. Ana Isabel Valera

I am passionate about teaching, which I deliver at various institutions, universities, and national and international business schools such as UAM, UNED, UCJC, Nebrija, THE VALLEY, Aedipe, among others.
I am a speaker at national and international HR events including the HR Innovation Summit, DCH Meeting on Human Resources Trends, Human Factor Congress, RecruiTalent, DataTalentFest, ITALENT, among others.
I was also a jury member at the Human Capital Tech Summit 2021 in the People Analytics startup category.
I coordinated the publication of the book People Analytics Told by Experts: An Analysis of the Employee Life Cycle, published by Open HR, with contributors such as Jorge Romero, Mercedes Hortelano, Javier Bonache, Alexis Bergani, Eva Iglesias, Daniel Díaz, Ignacio Jiménez, and Guido Risso. I also contributed as an author of one of the chapters.
For four years, I served as People Analytics Manager at Securitas Direct, where I was responsible for creating one of the first People Analytics departments in Spain. During this period, two of the projects I worked on were recognized with the EXPANSIÓN AWARDS for HR Innovation (2018 and 2019).
Previously, I worked for nine years as a Client Partner for People Analytics projects at the Instituto de Ingeniería del Conocimiento (Institute of Knowledge Engineering), a pioneering R&D center in data analytics in Spain. During this time, I participated in projects for companies such as GRUPO SANTANDER, CORREOS, INDRA, REPSOL, and BBVA, among others.
