You live in, vote in, and feel part of Spain. You take part in the illusion caused by the great deeds of people in music, sports and art. Therefore, you need to know the contemporary history of Spain

Why is Picasso a turning point? Or what did Nadal, the return of the Guernica, the Expo '92, the Olympics, the Oscars of Spanish cinema, etc. signify?

The 20th century has difficult moments, but these events also lead people to think and decide. This is possible due to the narration of historical events. And in its midst, stellar moments appear in sports, literature, music, cinema, plastic arts…

Of course, we will meet characters like Alfonso XIII, Adolfo Suárez, and the role played by many others.

We propose getting to know this country from the language of Art, turning it into teaching/learning that takes us in an appealing way through a chronological tour in which we will enjoy the walk; everything we learn in a fun way becomes unforgettable.

  • Module 1: Plastic arts as an expression of the thought of a society. From the reign of Alfonso XIII to the Second Republic.
  • Module 2: War, Dictatorship and artistic languages in search of new ways of expression.
  • Module 3: Transition and Democracy. La Movida and the renovation of the Museums.
  • Module 4: Visibility of Spain in Europe. Art is modernized with techniques.
  • Module 5: Observing and commenting on our environment. What worries us as citizens, and how artists talk about it.
