Is it sustainable to be sustainable? A three-dimension challenge: economic, social and environmental

The concept of sustainability helps identify possible ways of living in harmony with nature and with other people and communities.
Society requires business leaders who generate wealth without threatening the environment, entrepreneurs who want to promote their activity within the framework of sustainability.

This course focuses on promoting sustainable entrepreneurship and offering alternatives to the most pressing questions in the field of sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the use of real-life examples and contexts.

Learning Goals

This course is designed to delve into the knowledge of entrepreneurship from a sustainability perspective.
Specific learning goals include:

  • Students develop the necessary learning skills to undertake new business projects with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Be able to communicate the concept and function of a project in the business environment.
  • Identify the business structure present in the industry.
  • Understand the business organizational system, including organizational structures, culture, human resources, and change.
  • Describe the current situation of entrepreneurs, and identify how sustainable entrepreneurship, the circular economy, can be applied to dynamic environments.
