Specialized training in the subject

Injury prevention in the area of Sports Sciences and Physiotherapy is an extensive field of knowledge rarely explored in University Bachelor's Degrees. However, any sports training program that is carried out requires extensive knowledge from the professional in that area.

Physical activity is a health promoting factor, causing multiple beneficial and healthy effects on the person who practices it. Every day there are more people that perform sports on a regular basis, but we must bear in mind that physical activity is not without risks, which has resulted in sports injuries being on the rise and causing consultation with health professionals.

The main objective of this sports injury prevention course is to provide valid tools to meet the needs that arise in everyday practice, related to the prevention and physical rehabilitation of sports injuries, of professionals related to this field of training such as kinesiologists and physiotherapists, teachers of physical education, higher technicians in physical activity, etc..
