Edzo Bindels, Ruurd Gietema, Henk Hartzema, Arjan Klok \u00ab. Ha sido profesor en la Academia de Arquitectura en Amsterdam y Rotterdam y en la Universidad Tecnol\u00f3gica de Delft. Dentro de West 8, ha liderado m\u00faltiples equipos de dise\u00f1o ganadores de proyectos como son el parque fluvial de Madrid R\u00edo y la Regenraci\u00f3n de Playa de Palma de Mallorca en Espa\u00f1a. Otros proyectos importantes dirigidos son el Masterplan para Vathorst en Amersfoort y el Leerpark en Dordrecht, Pa\u00edses Bajos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">WEST 8 ,fundado en 1987, es uno de los estudios de paisajismo y dise\u00f1o urbano l\u00edderes en el mundo, referente de dise\u00f1o de vanguardia en proyectos a lo largo de Europa, Asia y America, entre los que se incluyen proyectos ganadores en importantes concursos internacionales como el frente mar\u00edtimo de Toronto en 2005, el parque de Governors Island en New York en 2007, o el masterplan para la regeneraci\u00f3n de la Playa de Palma en 2008.<br \/>\nLas oficinas de West 8 en Rotterdam y Nueva York combinan a diferentes profesionales con un claro enfoque multidisciplinar para afrontar los diferentes aspectos del dise\u00f1o urbano como planes directores a gran escala, parques, intervenciones paisaj\u00edsticas, frentes mar\u00edtimos\u2026. Adem\u00e1s West 8 desarrolla aspectos relacionados con el calentamiento global, la urbanizaci\u00f3n del territorio y las infraestructuras.<br \/>\nTrabajando desde el principio a nivel internacional, West 8 ha desarrollado proyectos alrededor del mundo, en metr\u00f3polis tan importantes como Copenhague, Londres, Mosc\u00fa, Nueva York, Madrid, Toronto o Amsterdam. La oficina consigui\u00f3 reconocimiento internacional con proyectos como Schouwburgplein en Rotterdam (NL), Borneo Sporenburg en Amsterdam (NL), Chiswick Park en Londres (UK) y Expo &#8217;02 en Yverdon-les-Bains (SUIZA).
