Civil engineer with more than a decade of experience in structural mechanics, finite element numerical simulation, and thermomechanical analysis. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Organization from Carlos III University in Madrid, where he developed advanced models for the propagation of dynamic cracks in brittle materials. His research has been widely recognized and includes awards such as the one received at the 31st Meeting of the Spanish Fracture Group. He has worked at leading institutions such as the Institute for Research in Materials Science and Technology in Argentina and the Polytechnic University of Madrid. At the latter institution, he participated in projects on the dissipation of thermoacoustic waves in hydrogen combustion. He is a member of the GREEN Vehicle Engineering Research Group at the Higher Polytechnic School. His expertise in advanced materials, reinforced concrete, and structures produced by additive manufacturing brings a solid, multidisciplinary profile to GREEN. He holds a Ph.D. from Carlos III University of Madrid, with a dissertation titled “Development and Implementation of Discrete Models Applied to Quasi-Brittle Fracture Problems” (2016), supervised by Dr. José Fernández Sáez.
