Practical training in educational settings is part of the degree program from the first year. These placements will help you connect academic knowledge with real classroom situations and progressively develop your teaching skills.
The curriculum includes 38 ECTS credits of school-based teaching placements. You'll also gain hands-on experience in the specialized Education classroom, where you can practice techniques directly related to your future profession.

A degree focused on the future and internationalisation
The approach of a degree with a bilingual option, such as our Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, seeks to promote the internationalisation of students. In addition, this curriculum responds to the social demand for more teachers capable of teaching in English and training future generations in language skills in line with the needs of Europe and a more globalised world.

Graduates in Early Childhood Education can study the Degree in Early Childhood Education in four academic semesters, thus obtaining the Degree in Early Childhood Education from Nebrija University.
The main objective of this degree is to train students to exercise the regulated profession of Early Childhood Education Teacher and to respond to the educational needs and challenges that this key stage in the development of the individual poses.
Teaching objectives
To provide students with the knowledge, instruments and skills that will enable them to assume the responsibilities they must face in the educational stage from 3 to 6 years of age.
To develop in students the ability to facilitate early childhood learning, from a globalising and integrating perspective of the different cognitive, emotional, psychomotor and volitional dimensions.
To help students understand the educational implications of information and communication technologies, and in particular television in early childhood.
To reinforce students' ability to put into play the necessary strategies to develop curricular projects that are adapted to the characteristics and needs of their pupils in the period 3-6 years.
To provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the objectives, curricular content and assessment criteria of Early Childhood Education.
To provide students with the necessary skills to promote the formation of perception, knowledge and control of their body through the stimulation of the different perceptive channels.
To provide students with the fundamentals of infant dietetics and hygiene as well as the psychological, learning and personality-building processes in early childhood.
In the case of the bilingual option, to provide students with a solid base of fundamental knowledge that will enable them to acquire a C1 level in English so that they can use it as a vehicle for specific knowledge.

Career opportunities
Graduates in this degree will be able to work as teachers in Early Childhood Education with children from 0 to 6 years old, in nursery schools (public, private and subsidised), children's leisure centres, or toy libraries among others, having the possibility of teaching in bilingual centres, thanks to the Mention in Foreign Language: English of the Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as specialising in other disciplines such as physical education, through the Mention in Physical Education; therapeutic pedagogy, through the Mention in Therapeutic Pedagogy or in Hearing and Language, studying the Mention in Hearing and Language.
On the other hand, they will be able to approach sectors of a different nature, but which require the knowledge of a graduate in Early Childhood Education, such as projects in museums, sports or leisure organisations, and sectors of creation of didactic materials, among others.
