The programme includes an updated basic medical training, common to that of the Degree in Medicine, with subjects focused on general medical pharmacy to understand the bases of therapeutic management, focused on Dental Medicine and pharmacy applied to dentistry to cover the prescription and use of specific medicines in dental procedures and guarantee safe and effective management of treatments.
Early clinical practice in modern professional settings
Internships in dental clinics of the DONTE GROUP, with a total of 131 dental chairs. Of these, 64 chairs will be used for specialised care (Dental Therapeutics, Dental Prosthesis, Oral Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Advanced Periodontics and Implantology and 4th year comprehensive clinical practice) and comprehensive supervised practice, and 67 chairs for practice with real patients in the 5th year.

After completing a degree in dentistry, it is time to make the decision to enter the world of work. Current legislation establishes the career of Dentist as a regulated profession whose practice, in accordance with the provisions of article 12.9 of Royal Decree 1393/2007, which establishes the organisation of official university education, requires the possession of the corresponding official degree, obtained in accordance with the conditions established by the Government in the Agreement of the Council of Ministers of 8 February 2008, published in the Official State Gazette of 27 February 2008.
The degree in Dentistry gives access to a single profile, the dentist, who may subsequently direct his or her professional life towards an activity fundamentally involving teaching, research, management or public or private health care, either on his or her own account or as an employee.
