Boost your career with a dual profile and stand out in the job market.
An approach that merges and empowers both degrees for your professional success
The Double Degree in Physiotherapy and Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFYD) at Nebrija University trains highly qualified professionals to address human movement from a holistic perspective. Thanks to the fully integrated training of both degrees, graduates acquire the skills to intervene at all levels of care, from health promotion and injury prevention to functional recovery and optimisation of sporting gestures, guaranteeing a comprehensive approach based on scientific evidence.
The curriculum allows for the development of both basic and specialised skills, starting with knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology and progressing towards specific areas such as biomechanics, exercise physiology and pathology. This comprehensive training enables students to successfully tackle all areas of physiotherapy and the different sports disciplines, guaranteeing a complete and multidisciplinary preparation.
Timetable for external placements in both degrees from the second year onwards
From the second year onwards, students will be able to put their theoretical knowledge to the test in practical training centres where they will be actively involved. Thanks to a combined pathway, they will be trained in all areas of physiotherapy and physical activity and sports sciences, both in clinical and sports specialities.
The double degree is taught at the Life Sciences Campus in La Berzosa, an environment of academic excellence with laboratories equipped with the latest technology, specialised practice rooms and recently inaugurated sports facilities. These infrastructures allow students to acquire the skills and abilities necessary for successful employment, with a professional profile that is fully integrated between the two disciplines.
Innovative methodologies
The programme is based on innovative methodologies such as project-based assessment, promoting task-based learning.
This approach allows students to develop autonomy and manage their time efficiently, fostering the development of key competences such as teamwork and the practical application of knowledge, ensuring a dynamic, applied training aligned with the demands of the labour market.
