Erasmus+ scholarships
study grants

Erasmus+ grants are awarded by SEPIE, the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (European Commission funds) together with the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. SEPIE is the body that acts as the National Agency for the management, dissemination, promotion and impact studies of the new Erasmus+ programme in the field of education and training (2021-2027).

The conditions, the number of grants and the amounts allocated may change from year to year:

  • Managed by the International Mobility Office.
  • In case of insufficient scholarships, the scale established in the International Mobility Programme will be applied.
  • After the awarding of international mobility places to European destinations, the International Mobility Office will inform students about the procedures to be fulfilled in order to be beneficiaries of the Erasmus+ grants through informative meetings and e-mail notifications.

You can consult information on the rules, procedures and documentation of the Erasmus+ grant at this link.

With the Erasmus+ programme, each student can benefit from several Erasmus+ grants up to a total of 12 months per study cycle (adding study periods and internships within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme). In case of insufficient financial grants, priority will be given to students who are going for the first time on Erasmus mobility.

Universities of Destination

Nebrija University has agreements with universities all over the world. Every year the Academic Departments, together with the International Programmes Department, review the offer of destination universities for outgoing students, taking into account the academic offer, interest in the destinations, new degrees, the balance in the number of mobilities carried out by both institutions and other criteria in order to offer Nebrija students the best experiences in our partner universities abroad.

We offer potential outgoing students different destination universities depending on their degree. We currently have exchange agreements with the following international universities:

  • Students must sign a Learning Agreement with their degree coordinator, indicating the subjects they want to take at the host university and the equivalent subjects that will be recognised at Nebrija University. At the end of the stay, the host university will send the grades and your coordinator will recognise the credits taking into account the Learning Agreement.

  • Depending on the country, the costs vary considerably, so it is important to make an approximate study of the living costs in the country where the university you are applying to is located. In some universities, especially in the United States, on-campus accommodation is compulsory, with the consequent financial cost. It is important that you discuss this with your family and that you have financial support.

For non-EU countries and the UK, please note that there are fees associated with the visa process.

  • Once the selection results are in and you know your destination, you will have to send the documents requested by the host university (application form, academic transcript, copy of your passport, etc.). • The amount of the grant depends on the cost of living in the host country, the Erasmus+ programme establishes 3 groups, you can check the estimated amount of your grant in the following link: Calculate your grant.

The grants will be paid in 2 instalments: 70% of the total when you arrive at the host university and 30% of the total at the end of your stay. The payment of this grant will be conditioned to the delivery of the required documentation.
