Qualifying course for obtaining the professional TIP of Security Director and Head of Security
This exclusive Course of Advanced Studies in Integral Security Management (CAEDSI) is articulated as an optimal training itinerary not only to satisfy the administrative requirements to obtain the qualification as security director and head of security (being recognised by the General Directorate of Police as one of the courses that allow it), but also to achieve a preparation of the highest level for its successful incorporation into the labour market.
In order to equip themselves with the necessary skills to carry out this type of functions, organisations must incorporate professionals specialised in the different tasks that corporate security involves. Among all the profiles required for such an important task, the security director stands out as a figure regulated by the Private Security Law (Law 5/2014, of 4 April), assigning him/her the main function of planning, organising, directing and managing security activities within a company or entity, ensuring the proper functioning of security services and compliance with current regulations.
The Security Manager also verifies compliance with approval requirements, communicates to the relevant authorities information relevant to public safety and acts as a liaison with the Administration, especially the Security Forces. He also plays a crucial role in security policy management, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards related to the management of various risks, as well as in performing checks on personnel who need access to areas or information to ensure the effective protection of the entity of which he or she is a part.
