In recent years, the interior design sector has undergone significant development and specialisation, which, together with new paradigms, have redefined the canons of design and space established until now.
The Master's Degree in Design, Development and Management of Interior Design Projects specialises in the management of advanced interior design projects, providing a solution to the sector's need for qualified and skilled professionals who can respond to the demands of the market, working either as employees or freelancers, to design, manage and implement unique projects.
This programme allows students to design, giving character and meaning to domestic spaces, work environments, commercial spaces and hotel accommodation, providing them with functionality and creativity.
The programme is aimed at meeting the market demand for qualified professionals to tackle complex projects and therefore has a practical and experimental content taught by the best professionals in each sector in the facilities of the Escuela Politécnica Superior at its Princesa campus, which has an accredited digital laboratory within the global network of Fablabs created by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which promotes access to tools and knowledge to educate, innovate and invent through technology and digital fabrication. With the intention of training today's professionals, from the basis of new processes and techniques, so that they are able to develop in a world that demands specialisation and exclusivity in interior design projects.
Students will have at their disposal agreements with the most prestigious firms in the country, in a master's degree with blended learning mode that allows to reconcile postgraduate studies with work responsibilities through a measured organization of face-to-face classes and online classes that facilitates work conciliation.

- C1. The graduate will be able to distinguish and select advanced functional, formal and technical solutions that allow a sustainable use of interior spaces.
- C2. Graduates will be able to construct singular interior design projects with criteria that entail improvements in quality and uses, capable of generating their own identity.
- C3. The graduate will be able to interpret information related to the materialisation of projects that help to respond to the different problems of the project and its different agents.
- C4. The graduate will be able to understand the practice and development of an interior design project: sketches, preliminary projects, basic projects, execution projects and work monitoring.
- C5. The graduate will be able to interpret the built heritage in order to be able to conceive, design, integrate and build on it.
- C6. The graduate will be able to evaluate the different prefabricated construction systems and materials used in the design and construction of interior design projects.
- C7. The graduate will be able to recognise materials, and their manufacturing, production and manufacturing processes, both handcrafted and avant-garde, in order to apply them to interior design.
- C8. The graduate will be able to gather knowledge of management, timing and agents involved in interior design communication.
- C9. The graduate will be able to predict the economic and organisational environment in which interior design is developed, both from a business and constructive point of view.
- C10. Graduates will be able to identify the legal and regulatory framework that regulates professional activity, health and safety at work, and intellectual and industrial property.
