Natural continuation of the Degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering
The Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering has a long tradition and has maintained its recognition over the years, being the benchmark master's degree in engineering, both nationally and internationally.
The Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering has an enabling nature, i.e. it gives access to the regulated profession of Industrial Engineer. The Master's Degree will train students to manage innovation and technological development in professional practice from leadership positions.
It is characterised by comprehensive training in industrial technologies and confers competences in different subjects: advanced design of machines and engines, fluid machines and installations, integrated manufacturing systems, industrial chemical processes, electrical engineering, automated process control, senior business management, financial and cost accounting, organisation and management of production, advanced installations, engineering and construction and transport engineering.
This postgraduate programme has a strong technological character and prepares students for the management of high-level and complex projects. It also prepares students for the management of multidisciplinary teams, especially in the field of industrial companies.
The objective of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering is to give continuity to the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering, granting at the end of the Master's Degree, full professional attributions recognised by law in all specialities of industry.
The Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering is the perfect complement for Graduates in Engineering, in Industrial Technologies, or Graduates in the different industrial branches that qualify them to work as Industrial Technical Engineers.
"At the Polytechnic, we encourage hands-on learning through a 'learning by doing' approach, while establishing a close connection with the business world to develop our students as leaders capable of solidly linking theory with practice".
Teaching methodology oriented towards the development of innovative projects
