Antonio Díaz-Barceló Caffarena

PhD and Agricultural Engineer specializing in agricultural industries from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He also holds a degree in Economics from UNED and an MBA from Georgetown University. His doctoral thesis, which compared the wine cooperatives of Castilla La Mancha with wineries in the European Union, earned him the Manuel Alonso 2008 award from the Government of Castilla La Mancha and the Official College of Agricultural Engineers of the Center and the Canary Islands.

Throughout his career, he has integrated his professional experience with teaching in business management. He currently serves as President of EUROCONSULTING Financial Advisors (http://www.euroconsultingaf.com/) with over 30 years of expertise in financial markets and the real estate sector. His portfolio management experience spans assets exceeding 20,000 million euros. He began his career as an auditor and consultant, subsequently leading the stock market analysis departments at ABN AMRO in Madrid and London, as well as at BBVA and Deutsche Bank in Madrid. He has held roles overseeing portfolios at Bankia and Sareb, and served as Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Acciona and Grupo Rayet. He has also held board positions at Bestinver, S.A.S.V.B, Marina Port Forum, and Rayet Geriátricos, in addition to his tenure as President of the Georgetown Club of Spain.
