Fernando Tomé Bermejo

He is the current Vice-Rector for Students and Employability, formerly Dean and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Nebrija University. Simultaneously Vice Rector and Director of the Antonio de Nebrija Foundation.

He has been Rector and Dean of IEDE Business School Chile, Director of IEDE Business School Madrid and of the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid, with 13 offices around the world. He is a professor accredited as a doctoral candidate in economics by ANECA. Since 2001 he has been teaching at universities and has been a member of the faculty of four Spanish universities, Universidad San Pablo CEU, Universidad de Alcalá, Universidad Europea de Madrid, currently at Universidad Nebrija; and two foreign universities, Universidad Andrés Bello (Chile) and Universidad de las Américas de Ecuador.

In the last five years, he has written six indexed scientific articles, one book, has supervised two doctoral theses and has participated in seven books as editor, coordinator and author of chapters. His latest scientific publication is from May 2019, in the journal Switzerland Resources MDPI (Scopus Q1). At a divulgative level, and in the last 4 years, he accumulates more than twenty journalistic articles and his last publication is from January 2020, in the newspaper El País-Cinco días, on the value of Spanish democracy. He regularly participates in the economic talk shows of Intereconomía Radio, “A media sesión” and Capital Radio, “Mercado abierto”. Visiting or guest professor at 15 universities outside Spain. His most relevant international stay was in Chile, where he resided between 2013 and 2015.
