Manuel Trenado Torrejón

He has developed his career in finance as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. After graduating as a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and obtaining a degree in Economics from the UNED, he joined the Financial Institutions team at Merrill Lynch in London, where he advised Spanish and European companies on financial services mergers and acquisitions. Subsequently, he joined the Financial Institutions team at Goldman Sachs in Madrid, taking an active part in most of the transactions that have transformed the Spanish financial sector.

Professor Trenado holds a PhD in Sustainable Investment and is currently a full time professor in the Department of Financial Management at Universidad Pontificia Comillas - ICADE, as well as an associate professor at IE Business School and IE University. He teaches at Universities, Business Schools and Companies in Madrid, London and the Middle East.
