Óscar Herencia Rodrigo

He holds a law degree from ICADE and an MBA from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He also holds a PDD from IESE, a program in senior management from The Valley Digital Business School and an MSc in Leadership and Emotional Intelligence from INSEAD. He has received training in leadership and organizational management from Harvard Business School and Cornell University.

He has spent his entire professional career at MetLife, where he joined in 1995. Since 2007 he has been General Manager, first for Portugal, then for Spain and, after the integration of both countries into a single operation, for the entire Iberian Peninsula. In February 2019 he was appointed Vice President for Southern Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Cyprus).

He is a member of the European Management Committee of MetLife and of the Board of MetLife Europe Holding Company.

In 2015, he was elected CEO of the Year in the insurance sector by El Economista and in 2019 he was elected Executive of the Year in Customer Experience by DEC.
