Obdulia Monteserrín Abella

She holds a PhD in Geography from the Complutense University of Madrid.

She has developed professional activity as a consultant for Public Administrations and tourism consultancy. She has completed her doctoral thesis in the field of territorial development and tourism, studying the Revitalization and Tourism Excellence Plans as instruments of tourism planning and enhancement of the territory. She has developed teaching activities at the Complutense University of Madrid (2007-2015) and at the Jaume I University, where she carries out professional and research activities in the field of tourism planning and management.

She has participated in international cooperation projects funded by the European Union and national projects in the framework of Spanish R&D&I calls.

Research Areas: transformations produced by tourism in the territorial area, the enhancement of resources, research methodologies and alternative economic practices.
