Presentation

The Nebrija-Santander Global Chair in Energy Recovery in Surface Transport was created with the aim of researching and raising awareness of the efficient and responsible use of energy. To do this, it aims to develop technological aspects that seek a more efficient use of surface transport energy, impacting the evolution of this sector and contributing to its progressive sustainability.

Among the actions carried out by the chair are the organization and participation in specific academic forums, the elaboration of publications of a scientific and informative nature, the implementation of meetings and training seminars for students and teachers, and the creation of a specific laboratory.

General Objective

The general objective of the Nebrija-Santander Chair in Energy Recovery in Surface Transport is to improve the efficiency of surface vehicles by devising components and systems capable of recovering mechanical and thermal energy.

Specific objectives

  • Develop energy recovery technologies in motor vehicles that can be transferred to industry.
  • Promote a more efficient use of surface transport energy.
  • Measure the impact of these technologies in the development of sustainable mobility.
  • Raise awareness of efficient and responsible use of energy.
