Former Residents Conference. Refugee crisis or European crisis?

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, the Former Residents Club held the conference Refugee Crisis or European Crisis? in order to analyze the current situation of the refugee crisis together with Professor Jesús A. Núñez Villaverde, co-director of the Institute for Conflict Studies and Humanitarian Action (IECAH).

The event was presented by Antonio Porro, president of the Club, who introduced the speaker and gave a brief description of the annual program prepared by this association, which seeks to promote training activities among current residents.

Professor Jesús A. Núñez made a delicate analysis of the refugee crisis, revealing the most relevant data and its possible causes and consequences while evaluating the approach adopted by European Union countries.

At the end of his presentation, the attendees were able to initiate an interesting dialogue with the speaker by presenting their analysis and questions.
