Former Residents Lecture by Tomás Roncero in Nebrija Residences

“Obtain the best possible information, be consistent, go and thrill them”

On Thursday, March 14, residents and former residents were able to enjoy the close conference given by well-known sports journalist Tomás Roncero.

He currently holds the position of editor-in-chief of the newspaper AS and is part of the team of commentators of the radio program Carrusel Deportivo and the television program El Chiringuito de Jugones. He shared his professional experience with the attendees, indicating everything that his career as a sports journalist had contributed to him, personally and professionally.

“I have been fortunate to work in what has always been my dream. I didn't have a job, I had a hobby and was lucky to be able to make a living through it." With these words, the sports journalist motivated the attendees to pursue what they really enjoy in life, and to know how to take advantage of the opportunities that can be offered, and to always work hard in favor of the decided objective.

For the journalist, communication channels and deadlines have changed, immediacy is the end of all communication, "but journalism has not changed, journalism is having the best information first."

After the conference, the audience was able to share their doubts and questions with the guest.
