The development of abilities and skills in the technical management of projects within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and international cooperation brings multiple benefits for the actors, among them: it facilitates the interconnection of several SDGs in development interventions; it optimizes the use of available economic and material resources; it has an impact on the generation of useful data for national and international progress measurements; it promotes the establishment of multi-actor partnerships in the field, etc.

Nebrija University offers the Expert Degree in Project Management for Sustainable Development and International Cooperation for all professionals interested in strengthening their knowledge and skills in technical management of development interventions.

The curriculum is made up of two modules that address the most relevant aspects of sustainable development, the management of all stages of the development project cycle and the application of Gender and Human Rights approaches.

Objectives

  • Study the conceptual and practical foundations of sustainable development within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
  • Provide students with key knowledge and tools to understand sustainable development from an international multi-actor approach.
  • Promote management skills based on knowledge of the role of the public sector in sustainable development and the SDGs.
  • Promote the implementation of multi-actor partnerships in order to achieve the SDGs.
  • Provide technical tools for the management of sustainable development projects in international cooperation.
