El Vicerrectorado de Ordenación Académica y Profesorado tiene como objetivo gestionar los procesos académicos relacionados con la definición, desarrollo e implantación de la oferta formativa, la planificación docente, y el aseguramiento de la calidad. De igual forma define y gestiona los procesos relacionados con el desarrollo de la carrera académica del personal docente e investigador y el desarrollo profesional del personal de administración y servicios. Adicionalmente, lidera y desarrolla los programas de “Executive Education” y la formación continua ya sean o no en colaboración con empresas e instituciones. El vicerrectorado desarrolla todas sus actividades en plena sintonía con las facultades, escuelas y centros de la Universidad y de acuerdo con las estrategias y directrices marcadas por el Consejo de Gobierno.

Estructura del Vicerrectorado de Ordenación Académica y Profesorado

Planificación Académica

Tiene como misión implantar, organizar y gestionar los planes de estudio de las titulaciones oficiales de grado y máster y los títulos propios que ofrece nuestra Universidad, además de planificar el calendario académico y de exámenes y los horarios docentes de todas las Facultades y Escuelas, así como la adecuación de los espacios a las necesidades docentes e investigadoras. De igual forma gestiona los procesos de reconocimiento de créditos.

Ordenación docente

Tiene como principal misión proporcionar soporte a las facultades, centros y departamentos académicos en materia de planificación docente, propuestas de contratación de profesorado, seguimiento de planes operativos docentes, elaboración y control presupuestario, emisión de certificados e informes.

Talento y Carrera Profesional

El área de talento y carrera profesional desarrolla, en colaboración con las facultades, centros y departamentos de la Universidad, los procesos de gestión de personas: planificación de plantillas, reclutamiento y selección, contratación, administración de personal, formación y desarrollo, gestión del desempeño, compensación y beneficios sociales, detección y potenciación del talento, bienestar, prevención de riesgos y salud. De igual forma, presta especial atención al desarrollo de las iniciativas propuestas por los departamentos académicos para estimular y fortalecer la carrera académica del PDI. Y, en colaboración con las áreas de administración y servicios, estimular y mejorar la proyección profesional del equipo humano de la Universidad.

Unidad Técnica de Calidad

La Unidad Técnica de Calidad es responsable, en colaboración con las facultades y centros de a Universidad, de la definición e implantación del Sistema Interno de Garantía de Calidad de todas las titulaciones de la Universidad. La unidad supervisa y coordina los procesos de verificación y acreditación de todos los títulos de la Universidad. Coordina la aplicación del programa DOCENTIA de evaluación del personal docente e investigador. De igual forma, supervisa todos los procesos y actuaciones desarrollados por la Universidad para fomentar y difundir la cultura de calidad en toda la organización. Asume también la gestión y relación con las entidades encargadas de la elaboración de Rankings universitarios.

Executive Education y Formación Continua

El área de executive education y formación continua gestiona de manera íntegra los programas de formación in company así como la oferta de formación continua de la Universidad. Para ello se desarrollan proyectos de formación a medida a través de un proceso de acompañamiento de las empresas cliente. Programas específicos (presenciales, blended o virtuales) destinados a potenciar el desarrollo del talento y orientados a la mejora de las conocimientos, competencias y habilidades profesionales de su equipo humano.

Vice Rector's Office for Research

The Vice-Rector's Office for Research aims to carry out the research and knowledge transfer missions that are entrusted to university institutions. Its activity is divided into four areas:

  • Doctorates: The Doctoral School is in charge of doctoral programs focusing mainly on:
    • Supervising the verification, monitoring and accreditation of doctoral programs.
    • Mobility and internationalization of doctoral programs.
    • Promoting research excellence through training in research skills for PDI (Teaching and Research Staff) and PhD students.
  • Research groups: The OTRI (Research Results Transfer Office) is in charge of providing support and coverage to research groups, mainly in:
    • Advising research groups and promoting public calls for research projects.
    • Supporting and collaborating in the presentation, execution and justification of research projects.
    • Supporting the transfer of knowledge and the dissemination of the research carried out by the research groups.
  • Research Chairs: The Research Service is in charge of coordinating the Nebrija Chairs, whose objective is to promote research and disseminate knowledge of specific areas, which are considered to be strategic and relevant in the context of today's society. Each Chair has a director and a coordinator, who work collaboratively with a research group. The different chairs respond as a whole to the university's commitment to generating, promoting and disseminating new knowledge, to promoting the transfer of research results, enhancing university-business collaboration and supporting academic excellence.
  • Library: The Library Service constitutes a fundamental support for research through documentary, bibliographic and training services, through which it provides the researcher with the precise tools to access the source documents that support all research, measure the effects and repercussions of his/her results, and train him/her in the corresponding skills and in the ordered procedures of the research cycle through which he/she is obliged to spend his/her scientific career.

Vice-Rector’s Office for Students, Employability and Internationalization

The purpose of the Vice Rector's Office for Students, Employability and Internationalization aims to manage departments related to most of the students' services and extra-curricular activities, with special emphasis on their access or integration into the labor market and their international enrichment, in accordance with the strategies and guidelines set by the Board of Regents.

It is made up of five areas:

  • Student Services Center: Its purpose is the reception, management and achievement of solving student's incidents, either directly or through other university departments. In addition, they encourage the participation of the student community in all academic and extracurricular activities that offered by the university.
  • International Mobility Unit: Its mission is to organize and manage the international stays of Nebrija students at other foreign universities, in addition to the stays of students from foreign universities who are studying at Nebrija.
  • Professional Careers: Its objective is planning and managing the integration and professional projection of students in companies and institutions with which the university maintains collaboration agreements for them to carry out professional internships.
  • Psychopedagogical Orientation Office: this offers the opportunity, to students who so desire, to receive comprehensive and individualized counseling that favors optimal academic performance and complete personal and professional development. In addition, it coordinates the University's Tutorial Action Plan.
  • Nebrija Alumni, Clubs and Sports: the university community that facilitates and guarantees, through the Antonio de Nebrija Foundation, constant contact between current students and those who have already graduated, in what will always be their home: Nebrija University. Training, meetings, thematic clubs, sports, forums and endless activities so that the university continues to being a meeting point and a place of opportunities for all students, present and past.

Vice-Rector's Office for Teaching Staff and Talent

The Vice-Rector's Office for Teaching Staff and Talent aims to manage the processes related to teaching and research staff and of the administration and services personnel, in accordance with the strategies and guidelines set by the Governing Council and the Board of Regents.

It consists of two areas:

  • Teaching Staff: Through the Teaching Organization section, its objective is the planning and implementation of improvement processes and actions in the teaching field. Support is provided to the academic departments in the planning of teaching needs for each academic year, proposals for hiring professors, monitoring of operational teaching plans, preparation and control of budgets for personnel expenses, management of the professional academic career, teaching innovation and issuance of certificates and reports.
  • Talent: Through the Human Resources section, it leads the people management processes in accordance with the strategy of Nebrija's entities. It seeks to create an environment in which people feel committed to the institutional project through a working experience of growth and contribution. To do this, it designs, develops and implements policies for organizational structure, workforce planning, recruitment and selection, hiring, personnel administration, training and development, performance management, social compensation and benefits, detection and empowerment of talent, well-being, risk prevention and health.
