In order to encourage research in the field of design and reform the ties between students, the University and companies, Nebrija University has launched the IADE Nebrija Chair of Design.

The Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design provides students an education that allows them to act as an expert Designer but that, at the same time, is able to integrate professionally by assimilating the codes of good conduct that must govern their professional practice, and is capable of promoting knowledge of historical, ethical, social and cultural aspects. He/she will promote an orderly approach to design that enhances the interactivity between the designer and the other professionals involved in the process. And finally, he/she will promote research as the basis for the continuous development of design and its culture, as well as to carry out his/her strategic role. The degree will introduce the student into the research practices, making him/her understand the rules of academic rigor and requirements for his/her own work.
With the Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, these studies are given a university level, especially in a university like ours, in which it is integrated into a Campus together with the Bachelor's Degrees in Fine Arts, Architecture, and Industrial Design, offering student the possibility of continuing to the Master's Degree in Industrial Design, with a specialization in Interior Design, and then, where appropriate, to access the Doctorate.

The student must take 240 credits
It involves Communication and Emotional Intelligence, Teamwork, Project Management, Leadership and Negotiation, Development of professional competences seminar (includes English level test).
The recognition of 6 credits will be arranged according to the different activities that the student carries out throughout his/her degree. They will be awarded for cultural activities, sports, student representation, solidarity and cooperation, and/or to attend one of the following subjects: Volunteering Ethics and Human Rights.
A program whose objective is to favor the practical training of the students, under the continuous supervision of the Department of Professional Careers of the University, the academic department corresponding to the degree and the company or collaborating institution where the internships are carried out. We provide advice on the choice of internships and follow-up and tutoring, always considering the professional orientation of each student.
