Student profile: In accordance with the provisions of Section 5 of Order EDU 2075/2010, the academic characteristics that define this admission profile are those of students who have obtained the Bachelor's degrees referred to in the first section of the Ministers' Agreement of July 23, 2010, which establishes the conditions for curricula that lead to obtaining degrees that enable exercising the regulated profession of Architect, as stated by the directives indicated in EDU Order 2075/2010. Access to the studies leading to obtaining the enabling Master's degree for the exercise of the regulated profession of Architect will require first passing the Bachelor's degree teachings contained in EDU 2075/2010.

Graduate profile: The profile of the student graduated from the Master's Degree in Architecture is that of people capable of:

  • Practicing the profession of architect who has regulated professional powers, this situation determines the scope of development of the professional exercise, as well as his specialization.
  • Solving problems in new or little-known environments within broad and multidisciplinary contexts related to Architecture, and also capable of generating new knowledge in the sector's own areas.
  • Creating architectural projects that meet the esthetic and technical demands and requirements of its users, respecting the limits imposed by budgetary factors and construction regulations.
  • Knowing the research and preparation methods of construction projects.

This Master's degree has a system of teaching units defined and taught by internationally renowned specialists along with our academic faculty.
Workshops are divided into four main fields: Construction | Urban planning | Structures | Projects.

First Semester 18 ECTS

  • 6 ECTS | Composition and project workshop

Second Semester 12 ECTS


  • From January to June, both included
  • 6 ECTS | Advanced urban planning workshop
  • 6 ECTS | Advanced structure analysis

Final Research Project 30 ECTS

  • 30 ECTS | Final Research Project
    • Transversal to the two four-month periods: The Final Research Project will begin to be considered during the first four-month period, although most of its work is carried out in the second one. This way the teaching load between the two four-month periods will be approximately balanced.
