Multidisciplinary training in radio and audio communication competences
We train you as a multidisciplinary, multi-skilled and versatile professional to join the ever-growing audio industry, closely linked to traditional radio. The evolution of the digital sonosphere requires professional profiles that can work both in a radio station and in production or distribution companies, dealing with information, entertainment or branded content. This postgraduate course will enable you, in addition to performing traditional functions in the world of radio as a communicator, producer, scriptwriter or programme presenter, to develop as a podcaster. We train you as an audio content creator, producer, distributor and marketer of podcasts, audiobooks and social audio.
The 60-credit Master's Degree in Radio, podcasting and digital audio offers advanced practical training thanks to the academic weight of Nebrija and the experience of the most renowned professionals in the audio industry from the leading radio station in Spain and leader in audience in all its programmes. Cadena SER belongs to the largest radio group in Spanish with presence in thirteen countries, absolute leader in Spain, Colombia and Chile.
The Master's Degree in Radio, Podcast and Digital Audio has been academically designed in response to the evolution of the audio market in recent years. The evolution of the digital sonosphere has meant a change in the communication paradigm where radio had the hegemony of the market.
Radio, despite having this hegemony of listening, needs to incorporate new listeners attracted by new content and narratives. Radio is not going to disappear as a medium, but it will have to adapt to the new demand for audio, which is why it is in the midst of a digital revolution. It therefore demands that professional profiles adapt from the weight of experience and tradition, to the new ways of reaching listeners, to the new ways of distributing sound in all types of media that complement and enrich traditional radio from digitalisation.
With Cadena SER
Cadena SER is Spain's leading general radio station in terms of audience according to the Estudio General de Medios (General Media Study). With more than four million listeners, its main programmes, such as Hoy por Hoy with Angels Barceló, La Ventana with Carles Francino and Hora 25 with Aimar Bretos, are leaders in information and opinion. Cadenaser.com and its mobile application are also leaders in digital radio consumption with more than 730,000 listeners, an exponential increase of 30% in the last year.
Cadena Ser is promoting a management model aimed at revitalising radio formats, technological innovation and the presence of its content on all digital platforms.
PRISA Radio is the largest Spanish-language radio group with a presence in thirteen countries and an excellent position in the main Spanish-speaking radio markets. PRISA Radio is the absolute leader in Spain, Colombia and Chile. Thanks to the connecting and convening power of its reference brands, it also develops a series of activities and events, such as concerts, festivals, music awards, debates and congresses, which revalue the medium and strengthen its links with the audience.
