Student’s profile: The Master’s Degree in Radio is directed to those who want to have a professional career as communicators, managers or directors of radio programs. In order to be admitted to the Master’s Degree program, you will need to have a higher education degree; with a Bachelor’s or Undergraduate Degree in Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Advertising and Public Relations being especially indicated.
Graduate’s profile: Our students are trained as multi-functional and multidisciplinary professionals with knowledge and competences for being, at the same time, communicators, announcers, scriptwriters, radio station managers, program managers, editors, producers, directors and digital content managers. The degree is aimed towards those persons who want to develop their career as multidisciplinary professionals in the medium of radio.

We train you as multidisciplinary, multi-functional and versatile professionals, to carry out the communication profession in a local, regional or national radio station. Some of the functions that you will be able to perform are: presenter, communicator and program announcer, director and editor of radio programs, editor of news programs or content manager and podcaster.
The Master’s Degree in Radio – Onda Cero, with 60 credits, offers practical, advanced training in the radio medium, based on the experience of the most recognized professionals of Atresmedia Radio, an activity area of Atresmedia that integrates the prestigious Spanish radio stations: Onda Cero, Europa FM and Melodía FM.
All the audience research shows that radio in Spain, with more than one hundred years of history, continues to be one of the leading media in credibility and trust, ahead of television or online media. It is therefore a means of communication that, in the midst of the digital age, occupies an excellent position and that undoubtedly requires new professionals who can work in the multiple areas it offers.
Onda Cero is the radio station with the most growth from Monday to Sunday, adding listeners to all its time slots and its main programs, according to data from the General Media Study. Onda Cero, with thirty years of history, is among the most listened generalist stations in Spain, thanks to star programs such as Más de Uno, presented and directed by Carlos Alsina; Julia en la Onda with Julia Otero at the helm; La Brújula, presented and directed by Juan Ramón Lucas; Por fin no es lunes, the weekend program hosted by Jaime Cantizano; Javier Cárdenas on Europa FM at the head of Levántate y Cárdenas, and Juanma Ortega on Melodía FM with Despiértame Juanma.
The stations of the Onda Cero group, Europa FM and Melodía FM, in addition to collaborating in teaching the Master's degree, offer an internship program in which ALL students will complete their training accompanied by the best professionals.
As we are very aware of the involvement of radio in digital communication, the Master's Degree in Radio-Onda Cero works with students throughout their entire education on audio beyond radio, and also works with the profiles demanded by podcasting, one of the trends in the digital sonosphere.
ATRESMEDIA RADIO has general-interest and special-interest channels with a differential offer and professionals with great influencing power, among whom are Carlos Alsina, Julia Otero, Jaime Cantizano, Juan Ramón Lucas, Javier Ruiz Taboada y Juan Diego Guerrero, among others.

The Final Research Project involves the realization by the student of a real project in which the knowledge, capacities, competences and abilities acquired during the period of carrying out the Master’s Degree are integrated and applied. The Final Research Project will be done as a team.
