Student’s profile: The Master’s Degree in Radio is directed to those who want to have a professional career as communicators, managers or directors of radio programs. In order to be admitted to the Master’s Degree program, you will need to have a higher education degree; with a Bachelor’s or Undergraduate Degree in Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Advertising and Public Relations being especially indicated.
Graduate’s profile: Our students are trained as multi-functional and multidisciplinary professionals with knowledge and competences for being, at the same time, communicators, announcers, scriptwriters, radio station managers, program managers, editors, producers, directors and digital content managers. The degree is aimed towards those persons who want to develop their career as multidisciplinary professionals in the medium of radio.

We train you as multidisciplinary, multi-functional and versatile professionals, to carry out the communication profession in a local, regional or national radio station. Some of the functions that you will be able to perform are: presenter, communicator and program announcer, director and editor of radio programs, editor of news programs or content manager.
The Master’s Degree in Radio – Onda Cero, with 60 credits, offers practical, advanced training in the radio medium, based on the experience of the most recognized professionals of Atresmedia Radio, an activity area of Atresmedia that integrates the prestigious Spanish radio stations: Onda Cero, Europa FM and Melodía FM.
According to the data of the last General Media Study, radio in Spain is the second medium in audience penetration, only following television, which signifies a scope of somewhat more than 24 million individuals. Therefore, it is a communication medium that, in the full digital age, occupies an excellent position that, without a doubt, requires new professionals who can work in the multiple areas that it offers.
The Onda Cero radio station, besides collaborating in the teaching of the Master’s Degree, offers an internship program in which ALL the students will complete their training accompanied by the best professionals. Europa FM and Melodía FM will also collaborate in the degree.
Onda Cero has 2,600,000 listeners, being one of the main national stations. Among its starring programs are Más de Uno (presented by Carlos Alsina and Juan Ramón Lucas), Julia en la Onda, La brújula, El transistor, Te doy mi palabra, Gente Viajera and Radioestadio.
ATRESMEDIA RADIO has general-interest and special-interest channels with a differential offer and professionals with great influencing power, among whom are Julia Otero, José Ramón de la Morena, Nuria Roca, Javier Ares, Javier Ruíz Taboada and Juan Diego Guerrero, among others.

Internships ensured in Onda Cero or stations of the group, such as Europa FM, where the students obtain real experience of the profession.
The program is taught in the new installations of the Madrid-Princesa Campus, located in the center of Madrid and a subway ride from everything.
Studying with students of more than 30 nationalities allows establishing a network of contacts with professionals from any part of the world.

The Final Research Project involves the realization by the student of a real project in which the knowledge, capacities, competences and abilities acquired during the period of carrying out the Master’s Degree are integrated and applied. The Final Research Project will be done as a team.
